We know exactly the questions to ask to determine the perfect musical accompaniment to enrich your event. We will be there to perform dance music at her sweet sixteen birthday party, Pomp & Circumstance at his graduation ceremony and cocktail jazz at your company launch.

Our entertainers do not perform the same set list from one event to the next but cater the music especially for you! Our ensembles include (but are not limited to)  classical string quartets/trios,  jazz quartets, cover/dance bands, duos, soloists, our unique Kashmir String Trio (violin/guitar/cello), specialty acts (Mariachi, Bollywood, Polynesian…) and our popular violin & guitar duo. Do you have a “crazy” idea for an ensemble but were afraid to ask? Ask away! V & G Entertainment is part of an extensive network of musicians and entertainers and we have assembled many unique ensembles specifically for our clients.

Custom instrumentation we have assembled for past events include:

  • six piece orchestra of 2 violins, guitar, piano, bass & drums (Persian wedding)
  • violin, guitar, tabla & dhol quartet with featured Indian dancers (Bollywood themed corporate function)
  • sitar, violin, tabla trio (Indian wedding)
  • five piece band with lead vocals plus 3 backing vocalists (annual Jessie Richardson Theatre Awards  at the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver – 15 years in a row)
  • classical string trio plus guitar with featured vocalist (wedding)
  • trumpet, violin, cello & percussion quartet (Roman gladiator themed wedding)
  • roaming German trio of accordion, tuba and vocalist (Oktoberfest event)
  • Mariachi Band (corporate luncheon)
  • Traditional a cappella Christmas carollers
  • We have also organized and arranged a full size orchestra and chorus for the BC Children’s Hospital annual fundraiser at the Chan Centre For The Performing Arts
